Randall Ray “Randy” Wills

Randall Ray “Randy” Wills, age 63 of Sidney, NE lost his battle with COPD on November 16, 2018. A remembrance service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Gehrig-Stitt Event Center at 1212 10th Ave. in Sidney. Cremation has been held and a private burial will be held at a later date. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt chapel to sign Randy’s register book and drop off condolences for the family. Randy was born on April 7, 1955 to Gilmore and Dorothy (Schuler) Wills in Sidney. Randy lived his entire life in Nebraska. Most of that time was in Sidney, with a short time in Lincoln and Scottsbluff.
Randy loved his sports teams of the area and was proud of all the area teams. He loved the Huskers, Rockies and his favorite “donkeys” (Broncos). Randy enjoyed working for Cash-wa, The Department of Roads, for the State of Nebraska and the street department for the City of Sidney.
Surviving Randy are his (3) daughters, Alicia Weinbender and husband Tim, their children Brayden and Ashlynn of Sidney, Heather Weinbender and husband Josh and their children Alexis, Kylie, Lance and Emma of Oklahoma, and Shelbi Wills of Lincoln; step-son Riley Reed of Lincoln and step-daughter Amanda Brown and husband Mike, their sons Oliver and Ethan all of Lincoln, his sister, Teresa Grant of Sidney, nephew Mike Grant and wife Lisa Carter and his daughter Ashlynn and her children Chance and Halle Carter all of Sidney, niece Cortney Grant of Texas and numerous cousins and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers Robbie Wills and Rodney Wills, his grandparents Ray and Louise Wills and Fred and Mayme Schuler.
