Agnes Louise (Downs) Curless was born on January 13, 1927 in Bridgeport, NE to Irvin and Maybn Downs. The family moved to Sidney when Louise was five. She attended Sidney Public Schools and graduated in 1945. In 1946, she married William R. Curless. They had four children, Kathy, Kris, Mark and Jay. Before retiring, Louise worked at Hipp Wholsesale-Cashwa for many years. She enjoyed watching the Broncos play.
Louise is survived by Kathy and husband, Doug Gartner, and Mark and wife, Barb, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and brother, Len, of Aloha, OR. And many friends she considered family at SRMC, nurses, aids and staff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, daughter, Kris and son, Jay, and a granddaughter, Ranae.
