Obituary for Alvin R Jones
Alvin R. Jones, age 64, of Sidney, passed away in Sidney, NE on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Sidney Church of the Nazarene, 1445 Jackson Street, Sidney, NE 69162. Pastor Lee Eads will officiate the service. Cremation has been held. A luncheon will follow the service.

Alvin was born January 15, 1958 to Donald and Claudine (Love) Jones in Ft. Morgan, CO. Alvin had been a long time Greeley, CO resident.
Survivors are his sister, Deanna Taylor and husband Chris in Colorado Springs CO, half-brother Robert Jones and wife Lindy in Loveland, CO, step sister Tami Ruth in Loveland, CO; Aunt Wanda Hoffman and husband Gerald in Baldwin City, KS; cousins Mickey Love and wife Andrea in Athens, AL; Lucinda Whitney and husband Bret in Overland Park, KS; Alicia Love in Gardner, KS; Connie Ingmire and husband Dale in Brush, CO; Pat Ehrlich and husband Greg in Weldona, CO; Curtis Samples and wife Denise in Rustic, CO; Judy McKinley and husband Kim in Arvada, CO; Jennifer DeNoncourt and husband Donald in Greeley, CO; and Mike Jones in Abilene, TX, and many nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank the Regional Medical Center, the SRMC Extended Care, the Sidney Police Force, and the entire community for welcoming Alvin into Sidney. Thank you also to Ron for sharing the Person, Power and Presence of Jesus to Alvin. Thank you to all involved in supplying food and beverages at the luncheon. Thank you to the Church of the Nazarene and Pastor Eads for your hospitality.
