Obituary for Cheryl A Miller

Cheryl A. Miller, age 74, of Sidney, NE passed away in Sidney on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Weyerts Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lodgepole, NE, with Pastor Leon “Bud” Gillespie officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Cremation has been held. Services will be recorded and available on our website for viewing. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 1-6:00 P.M. to sign Cheryl’s register book and leave condolences for the family. The family asks for any memorial contributions to be made to the Arthritis Foundation in Cheryl’s name or in care of the family.

Cheryl was born on December 26th, 1946, to Lumar and Ella (Schlman) Studnicka, in Sidney NE. She grew on the family farm north of Potter and later moved to Sidney. Cheryl graduated from Sidney High School. Cheryl married Keith Miller on August 10, 1965, in Sidney, NE. To this union they had two children Michelle and Bryon Miller.
Cheryl had several retail jobs during their time away from Sidney eventually moving back to Sidney and retiring from Cabela’s. Cheryl was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Cheryl loved her family dearly and also enjoyed spending time gardening.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 56 years, Keith, daughter Michelle of Scottsbluff, NE, and son Bryon of Cheyenne, WY. Five grandchildren Ashley Riley and (Kyle), Taylor and Cesar Martinez, Alesia Miller, Trey and Alexia Miller and Bryli Miller along with several great grandchildren. Several siblings LaNita and Herb Roeser, Louella and Jeff Pippit, Bob and Pat Studnicka, Cynthia and Steve Yantzi, Lila Studnicka, Jim Ross, Ron and Michelle Studnicka and Aunt Velva Gade.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janet, brother Steven, granddaughter Nicole Riley and brother-in-laws Bruce and Gene Miller and sister-in-law Marilyn Spring.
