Dennis was born on October 10, 1989 in Scottsbluff, NE to Dennis Sr and Miriam (Nechin) Pankowsky. He attended school in Scottsbluff, until he moved to Sidney in 2004 and became part of Region I OHD. Dennis graduated Sidney High School in 2008. Greg and Linda Huck became part of his family by becoming his guardians in 2009.
In Dennis’ younger years he enjoyed living with his parents and walking around Scottsbluff. He really enjoyed helping his dad with chores around the house and having monthly WWE and pizza parties which this passion carried into adulthood.
When he moved to Sidney, he attended OHD in the summers, was part of Kool Kids Club, Special Olympics and Unified Special Olympics.
Dennis loved working in the community and did contract work at OHD. He found his real passion when he went to work with his guardian at Financial Partners and became the “Office Guy”. He later worked for Adams Industries where he became a significant part of their team.
Dennis was avid football fan, and loved watching the Broncos and Huskers anytime he could. He enjoyed community events and he never met a stranger. He had a special relationship with his guardians who were his family. He loved going to family events, out to lunch and becoming an “uncle”.
Dennis had a great sense of humor, he was compassionate to others, and loved animals especially Delilah. He loved coffee, office supplies, and a good slice of pizza.
He is survived by Greg and Linda Huck and family, OHD family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Pankowsky Sr. and mother Miriam Pankowsky.
