Obituary for Donna Lohse

Donna Lohse, 82, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Chappell, NE.
Visitation will be from Noon until 8 p.m., Friday, February 12 at the Hanover Mortuary, Hanover, KS.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover. Rev. Rodney Fritz will officiate. Arlyce Klipp will play the organ and the hymns will be "Open Now Thy Gates of Beauty", "I'm But A Stranger Here" and "Amazing Grace".
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Donna Lana Lohse, was born on October 4, 1938 in Eldorado, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Parscal and his wife Marjorie Thompson Parscal. She received her gift of eternal life on Sunday, February 7 while a resident at her daughter’s home in Chappell, Nebraska. Donna was 82 years, 4 months, and 3 days old.
She was Baptized and Confirmed in her Christian faith on January 23, 1958 at Grace Lutheran Church of Eldorado, Kansas by the Rev. Eric O. Metzdorf.
On August 18, 1957 Donna was united in marriage to Melvin Lohse, the service held at Grace Lutheran, Eldorado by Pastor Metzdorf. Donna was a homemaker, helped Melvin on the farm, and for many years worked at a waitress at Ricky’s Café in Hanover. She served her Lord as a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marjorie; by her husband Melvin in 2018; brothers, Charles Jr., Leslie, Kenneth, and Richard Parscal.
She is survived by her children, Larry Lohse and his wife Tami of Hanover; Jerry Lohse and his wife Syndee of Marysville; Ronda Mitchell and her husband Dale of Chappell, Nebraska; Teresa Howard and her husband David of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother Carlos of Athens, Greece; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and by her many friends, especially those she waited on at Ricky’s.
We give thanks to the Lord for all of His blessings poured out upon Donna during her life, especially for her gift of eternal life in Heaven that she now enjoys through faith in Christ our Lord.
