Elaine B. Glanz, age 84, entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2020. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 Virus, a Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Greenwood Cemetery with Father Mike McDermott officiating. Elaine Bertha (Peetz) Glanz was born on November 28, 1935 to Frank and Bertha (Larsen) Peetz in Sidney, NE. She attended St. Patrick’s Academy in Sidney and attended College in KY. Elaine worked in the banking industry in many capacities before retiring at the age of 73. She loved to travel with her friend including destinations to Alaska and Hawaii as well as many local attractions across the country. She enjoyed Sunday morning Mass and breakfast with family and friends.
Elaine is survived by her children; Patty and husband Nick Lobato and Don Glanz; (2) grandchildren; Jessica and husband Sean Birney and Brandon and wife Tiphanie Lobato; (3) great-grandchildren; Jase Birney, Wyatt and Allie Lobato and (1) sister Rose Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Glanz; parents Frank and Bertha Peetz; brothers Burgett Peetz and Dr. Dwaine Peetz; sister and brother-in-law Gloria and Gene Bonkiewicz and brother-in-law Laverne Thomas.
