So many memories of Erma from my first days in the work! She was such a "salt of the earth" type person. I remember so many times of sitting around the kitchen table, visiting and laughing. She had such a grounded attitude about things. You'll miss her so much. You only get one mother--they're irreplaceable.

This was the last time I saw Don and Erma; several years ago now.

My sympathy goes to all of the family of our dear Erma. She was a very bright spot on the horizon of a very good friend of mine, Don Yung, in July 1959 but I didn't get to meet Erma until she had already changed her name to Yung so a bit late I'd say. A very special couple to me for many years but time is carrying all of us away so you younger folks step right up to your day. I'll be thinking of you Monday and Tuesday and the best of days til there's no more.
