Judy L. Kurth, age 74, of Sidney, NE passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 5th at the Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Lee Eads officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s name to Church of the Nazarene. Judy Lee Kurth, the daughter of Edwin and Viola (North) Fristrom, was born on January 1, 1945 in Imperial, NE. Judy attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She married Leo Kurth on March 19, 1965 in Sidney. Her main focus was being a homemaker. She had various jobs including the Dry Cleaners, Prestolite Wire, Cabela’s Warehouse and cleaning houses.
Judy loved entertaining and spending time with family and friends. She was happiest surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She embraced her faith and lived her life with strong values.
Judy is survived by her husband Leo in Sidney, (2) sons, Kevin of Chappell, Torrey of Ricelake, WI; (1) daughter, Valerie Rauner of Grand Forks, ND; (1) brother, Jay Bottrell of Robertsdale, AL, (2) sisters, Lois Watson of Cheyenne WY, Anita Hanks of Palmbay, FL, (9) grandchildren and (10) great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Edwin Fristrom and Viola Bottrell, brother Charlie Fristrom and sisters Anna Montoya and Dianne Madonia.
