My sympathy to all of the Rieken family. The lose of your father is not easy. Memories, thank heavens, takes over and you sure have lots of them.
One of my memories of the visits to Sidney were the wonderful family dinners and meeting all the relatives. You had no doubt who was in charge at the dinner table.
After dinner sometimes we would play cards 65 was his favorite and you better not make any mistakes because Leonard was watching you.
I will miss our occasional phone call in the evening. Will miss you much Leonard.

Dear Keith, Marilyn, Brett and the entire Rieken Family,
I am so sorry to hear about sweet Leonard. He was such a funny man who loved to laugh and he was such a delight to be around! My fondest memory of Leonard will always be during a Steelers football game at your house in San Diego. I had my Terrible Towel and was jumping and screaming with every touchdown. The look on Leonard's face was precious as he turned to my sister, Marilyn and asked, "Does Marge always get this crazy during football? Oh geez, here she goes again!" Ha ha! This photo was fairly recent and was taken in your home while Leonard sat in that favorite chair with his blanket. Please know that we are thinking of you all and sending our love and keeping you all in our prayers. It brings me comfort to think of him back together with Mary Anne! I feel so sad knowing I will never see him again but I feel blessed to have known him and thank God for all the wonderful and fun memories.
Love you!
Margie & Gary Smilowitz
