Obituary for Michael G. Bules
Michael George Bules, age 70, passed away at home on December 23, 2020.
A Celebration of Life took place at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Peetz Community Center in Peetz, CO. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions can be sent to Saint Jude’s Children’s hospital or to Peetz Lions Club in Mike’s name.

Mike was born the youngest child of George Dean and Ruth (Reiner’s) Bules on May 11, 1950 in Sidney, NE. Mike attended grade school and high school in Peetz, CO. After high school graduation, he attended CSU Pueblo College where he played football for 2 years.
Mike worked in the oil fields, Pepsi and Prestolite until he went to farming full time.
Mike was a member of the Peetz Lions Club for 48 years, an Elks Club member for 44 years and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peetz.
Mike was a fun-loving person. Everyone who met Mike knew they had a friend forever.
Mike enjoyed fishing, camping, riding 4 wheelers, working sudoku puzzles, watching football on TV, his daily afternoon “meetings” with brother-in-law Jack Hume and attending his grandkids games.
Survivors are his wife Kathy Van Aelstyn Bules Peetz, CO, Son Brandon and wife Jennifer Bules Tahuya, WA, Son Kyle and wife Tanisha Bules Fort Morgan, CO, Stepson Travis Allen Sidney, NE,
Stepson Trevor and wife Amie Black Sidney, NE, Sister NaDean Meier Sterling, CO, Sister Jan Rockwell Highlands Ranch, CO, Sister Sandie and husband Jack Hume Kerr Peetz, CO, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 9 nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his Father Dean Bules, Mother Ruth Bules, Son Brent Bules and
4 Brother-in laws.
