Obituary for Nancy A Russell
Nancy A. Russell, age 60, of Potter, NE passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 in Greeley, CO. Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Gehrig-Stitt Chapel, Sidney, NE, with Pastor Cico officiating. Inurnment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney, NE.

Nancy was born in Sidney, NE on January 23, 1961 to Kenneth W. Onken and Norma A. (Ammerman) Onken. She lived in Sidney until 1967 when her family moved to Fredrick, CO where she attended 1st-9th grades. In 1976, they moved back to Sidney where she completed 10th, 11th and 12th grade and graduated from Sidney High School in 1979.
On August 22, 1987 she married Rodney Russell. Nancy was a cook at Memorial Hospital and Home, Sloan’s Estates and Sidney Public Schools in Lorenzo, NE.
She is survived by her husband Rodney, one daughter, Jessica and husband Brock Anderson of Seward, NE; three granddaughters Nataliy, Dalaney and Berkely and three brothers Kieth Dean, Kent Gene, and Kevin Onken.
