Obituary for Pat E. Beyer

Patricia E. Beyer, age 80, of Sidney, went home to join the Lord and her parents in heaven on Thursday, July 21 2022, in Sidney, NE. A Rosary service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dalton, NE with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father Tim Stoner and Stephen Deaver officiating. She will be laid to rest at St Mary’s Catholic Dalton Cemetery immediately following services at the church. Cremation has taken place. Services will be recorded and available on our website for viewing.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Monday from 1-6:00 P.M. and leave condolences for the family. Family will not be present

Patricia Elaine Beyer is the oldest of seven children, born to Leo O'Connor and Elaine (Deaver) Hoppes on January 19th 1942 in Alliance, NE. She attended St. Agnes Catholic school in Alliance and graduated in 1960. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Scottsbluff, NE for a short stent. She then took on a position at AT&T in Sidney, NE and was introduced to Robert A. Beyer and they were married August 24th 1968 and to this union four children were born. After fulfilling a life full of happiness and joy with raising her four children she assumed work at Cabela’s.
Patricia Elaine Beyer was preceded in death by her father Leo, mother Elaine, and sister Judith.
Patricia and her husband Robert Beyer had 4 children: Willis and wife Gail Beyer of Bridgeport, NE, Amanda and husband John Jenson of Dalton, NE, Christopher and his wife Jodi Beyer of Columbus, NE, and Serena and her husband Damon Ballance of Sidney, NE. Patricia Elaine Beyer has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mama was a wonderful hostess, cook, baker and loved to do all of this for her family. She loved everyone that she knew and never had anything bad to say about anyone. She was a nurturer, whether it was kind words, a warm hug or a delicious plate of food.
