Rodney Allen Paxton
Rodney Allen Paxton, age 60, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 following a long illness and hip replacement surgery at U.C. Health Hospital in Aurora, CO. He was loved much and will be greatly missed by all.

Rodney Allen Paxton was born November 6, 1959 in Valentine, NE to George A. Paxton and Clara (Rhoades) Paxton. He grew up in Gordon, NE and graduated from high school in 1978. He worked in Alliance, NE a short time.
Rodney was united in marriage to Sally Rose on November 10, 1979. After working in the oilfield in Wyoming several months they moved to Kimball, NE. On September 18, 1983 a daughter, Jennifer Rose Paxton was born. On April 13, 1985 a son, Dirk Allen Paxton was born. Rodney worked at Kimball Panhandle Coop for several years.
He was united in marriage to Trudy (Gardner) Hottell on May 23, 2008. They lived in Potter, NE and most recently in Dalton. He worked at ADC Prestolite for many years and as a security guard at Cabela’s warehouse. He was a wonderful son and father.
Rodney is survived by his wife Trudy Paxton of Dalton, NE; daughter, Jennifer Tryder and husband Rick of Cody, WY; son, Dirk Paxton and fiancé Raina of Grainfield, KS; step-children, Judy Cederholm and family of Custer, SD, Jim Hottell and family of Pine Bluffs, WY; 8 grandchildren, his parents George and Clara Paxton of Bridgeport, NE; one brother, Tony Paxton of Lake Placid, FL; one nephew, Brandon Paxton and family of Jefferson, GA; one niece, Brooke Bianes and family of Bradenton, FL, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
