Sandra K. Reichman, age 70 of Lodgepole and lifelong resident of Cheyenne County, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Lodgepole, NE.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 22nd in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lodgepole with PMA Brenda Tophoj officiating. Cremation has been held. Services will conclude at the church. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Friday from 1-7:00 P.M. with family present from 4-6:00. Sandra Kay Reichman, the daughter of Phillip William and Lucille Margaret (Dethlefsen) Mashek, was born on September 4, 1948 in Sidney, NE. Most of her life was spent in the Cheyenne County area with a brief stay in Lake Wales, FL. Sandy attended Colton Country School her elementary years and graduated from Sunol High School. She received her Associates from WNCC in Sidney and a Bachelor’s Degree from Regis University. Sandy was involved in the BPO Does, Nape/AFSCME Union and served on the Board of Directors. She worked most recently as a laborer for the State of Nebraska.
Sandy was the mother of 3 boys Dennis, Dusty and John and looked after several other children. Sandy had a very big heart towards caring for others. All of her jobs and hobbies were based on awards and rewards. The bigger picture was the reward that came from the love and effort that she gave every day to others. She always made time, even the smallest amount to show that she cared. She loved all her grandchildren. Sandy always kept her faith in Jesus Christ.
Sandy is survived by (3) sons: Dennis Kilgore and wife Tami, of Broken Arrow, OK, Dusty Kilgore and wife Kristin of Omaha, NE, John Grabowski and wife Kamey of Sidney NE; (1) brother; Roger Mashek and wife Marie of Lead Hill, AR; (3) grandchildren and (1) great-grandchild and numerous extended family members.
Sandy was preceded in death by: her parents Phillip and Lucille Mashek, (2) brothers Robert Mashek and wife Joanne, and Larry Allen; (1) sister, Connie Leanne Ann Mashek; (2) grandsons, Dillon Grabowski and Dennis James Kilgore
