Trevor is survived by; his parents, Bill and Pat Printz of Rapid City, South Dakota. Brother, Darin Printz and family; Dawson and Lacey, of Denton, Texas. Sister, Sheri Printz and family; Scott Hendrickson, and Addeline Printz-Hendrickson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Trevor is also survived by his former spouse Sabrina Smith of whom he married September 8, 2013. He is smiling down from heaven, in the loving arms of his grandparents, Oren and Earlene Cox; Oscar and Thresa Printz and extended members of family past.
Trevor was born January 02, 1980, in Sidney Nebraska, to William Dean Printz and Patricia Ann (Cox) Printz. He graduated from Sidney High School, Class of 1998. Following graduation, he attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney, and the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts. A lifelong scholar of faith, Trevor also studied at the Christian Leaders Institute.
Trevor was known by friends and family to be funny, loyal, honest, and straight forward. A love for nature, he enjoyed a passion for photography. Trevor was also known to be a talented writer. Trevor also enjoyed farming and gardening, often relating to the cycle of life; as what he planted flourished from the tiniest seed to maturity. He often connected with nature through his enjoyment of long-distance cycling and in recent years, befriending the local deer, ducks and other wildlife with seeds and grain as they visited the pond close to his bedroom window. Trevor had the gift to relate to others in a deep and positive way. Always a servant and taking the time to lift the spirits of anyone that needed a friend. There was always a special place in Trevor’s heart for the underdog and he always took great pride in being able to help others bloom.
A member of the United Methodist Church in Sidney, Nebraska, Trevor was a devoted Christian. Trevor loved the Lord and felt the more time he spent in silence, listening, the more he learned about himself. As he prayed, he would often ask that the Lord work through him to draw people to God’s word so that they would know his eternal love. Trevor always knew he was never alone in his journey and believed in the Lord’s forgiveness. In Trevor’s own words "God does some of his best work with the bottom of the barrel." Trevor often felt the Lord was always speaking to us, but many times our lives became too noisy to hear the Lord’s precious whispers.
"Love is looking forward to never saying goodbye, not even in the end." ~Trevor Printz

Trevor was picked by my wife and I to be our daughter's godfather; for his love, compassion, strong will and faith. We talked for hours about life and JoJo sharing pictures and stories. I'm just sad it to so long for us to find out about Trevor being taken so soon. For over 10 years he was my mentor, educator but most importantly the brother I needed. Wish I could have seen him one last time to share a joke and story again. He will always be missed and loved, and as JoJo gets older he will stay in our memories as I share his stories.
