Violet Meyer, age 84 of Sidney, NE passed away in Sidney, April 9, 2020.

Violet Verdine Meyer was born on June 23, 1935 to Carl and Hattie May (Pullen) McLean in Alliance, NE. On September 23, 1955 she married Harold Meyer in Alliance, NE. To this union 3 children were born, Cheryl, Wayne and Julie.
Violet spent over 30 years in the food industry, including 22 years as the head cook at Sidney Memorial Hospital. Vi enjoyed her bridge club and bowling league. Her family was her greatest joy.
Violet is survived by her children; Cheryl Farmer, Wayne Meyer and Julie (John) Gochenour, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Hattie McLean; her husband Harold Meyer; (1) sister and (1) brother.
