Maddy and Adam

It’s taken me awhile to write this out but here it goes. My most fondest memory of Adam and Maddy is our first visit to Wichita. That first night he helped put Maddy to sleep and as he held her tight to his chest he kissed her forehead and told her how much he loved her. He loved this little girl and although his time with her was short Maddy knows of the love her father had for her. If only I’d known how short their time together was I would of taken a thousand pictures of them together. I’ll never forget when he gave her that donut she had it everywhere in her hair and up her nose. I walk thru the door and she had the biggest smile on her face. He said don’t freak out I’m giving her a bath but not in the tub in the sink just like his grandma use to do. All I could do was laugh it was too cute. Adam you had a personality like no other you were truly one of a kind and you’ll be missed more than you’ll ever know. I see a lot of your traits in our daughter and I promise Maddy will grow up knowing what a wonder man her father was. And although our time together was short I’ll cherish every minute the good and the bad. I’m glad our last words to each other were I love you. May you rest in peace until I see you on the other side. Love Jackie and the Kids
