Adam E. McCormick, age 36 of Sidney, NE passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Sidney Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 9th in the Fine Arts Center in Sidney, formerly the Full Gospel Church, 1000 11th Avenue in Sidney, with Rev. Maxine Wilson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
You are invited back to the Fine Arts Center following the graveside services for the reception.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Wednesday from 1-7:00 P.M.

Adam Eugene McCormick, the son of Lonny Eugene McCormick and Donita Alice (Sanford) McCormick was born on January 21, 1976 at Sterling, CO. He attended Sidney Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1995 where he excelled in football and wrestling. Adam served in the United States Navy. On March 1, 2004 Adam was united in marriage to Nickie Bright. He most recently had been working as a roughneck in the Oil Fields.
Adam enjoyed time outdoors, Husker Football, family gatherings and most of all creating memories with his five children.
Survivors include: (5) children: Nathaniel, Luke, Dreyson, Denym and Maddyson; his parents: Lonny McCormick and wife Erni of Goddard, KS and Donita Fredrick and husband Daniel of Sidney; (3) sisters: Alicia Whited and husband Brian of Colwich, KS, Melissa Fredrick of Wichita, KS and Terri Helvie of Viola, KS; (2) brothers: Nathaniel Fredrick of Long Beach, CA and Zachary Fredrick of Minot, ND; his grandparents: Francis and LaVaughn McCormick, Orville and FloraBeth Fredrick and Paul and Shirley Trum; (2) nieces and (3) nephews.
Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clifford and Donna Sanford and his niece: Alivia Donna Whited.
