Susan K. Von Seggern, age 50 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at the Sidney Regional Medical Center.
Rosary services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 16th and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 17th. Both services will be at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sidney, with Fr. Art Faesser officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Sunday from 1-4:oo P.M.

Susan Kay Von Seggern, the daughter of Patricia and the late Duane (Benny) Von Seggern, was born on February 8, 1962 at West Point, NE. Susan attended the School For Exceptional Children in Norfolk, Lyons, and Sidney, NE. She was employed at the Office of Human Development workshop in Sidney for over 30 years.
In earlier years, Susan enjoyed swimming and bowling. She was a lifelong fan of “Star Trek,” “Gilligan’s Island” and “I Dream of Jeannie.” Susan always enjoyed time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother: Patricia of Sidney; (1) brother: Tom and wife Cindy and their children: Patrick and wife Sheila, Michael, Sara and Kelly; (1) sister: Jean and sons: Alec and Hayden all of Sidney; (1) sister-in-law: Roxanne and children: Christine and Andrew of Queen Creek, AZ.
Susan was preceded in death by (1) brother: Jeffery in 2010 and her father in 2011.
