Dear Family, I was very, very sad to read about Aunt Marian's passing. I must admit that I did not know she was so ill. Sharing heart-felt sympathies with you via email seems rather impersonal, but I do not want to forego this chance to quickly reach as many of you as possible. When I think of Marian, I think first of her laugh and how frequently I heard it when I was in her company. A great smile and a robust laugh! I cannot know the right thing to write to you now. I just am sad that you have lost such a prominent family member who loved you deeply. May you always remember Marian's love for you. I will watch for more information regarding Marian's funeral.
