Charlotte A.  Booth

Charlotte Ann Booth, the daughter of John J. and Anna Belle (Emanuelson) Zalesky, was born on October 28, 1924 at Lodgepole, NE. She graduated from Sunol High School in 1942. On March 22, 1944 Charlotte was united in marriage to Hugh Bartlow Booth in Sidney. After raising her five children, Charlotte entered the workforce. She worked at several places before joining Cabela’s and retired in 1987.
Charlotte was well known for her green thumb and had one of the largest gardens in Sunol. In her retirement years she grew the most beautiful gladiolas. Charlotte was an avid bowler and was a member of teams in Chappell and Sidney. She was a past member of the VFW Auxiliary and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her children: Beverly Bartnicki and husband Dan of Salt Lake City, UT, Rick Booth and wife Chris of Bertrand, NE, Dennis Booth of Rawlins, WY and Becky Lloyd of Sidney; (7) grandchildren: Tod Bartnicki and wife Tiffany and Eric Bartnicki all of Salt Lake City, Dennis Booth Jr. of Chicago, IL, Barbara Booth of Albuquerque, NM, Sean Booth of Hastings, NE, Derek Lloyd and wife Brooke of Sidney and Melanie Taylor and husband Jesse of Sidney; (7) great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Hugh; (1) son: Paul; (2) sisters: Dorothy Lawrenceson and Lillian Arbuckle and (6) brothers: Robert, Clarence, Arlie, Millard, Delmar and John.
