Joanne (Mom) was a great mother-in-law. We had many great hours of conversation. She had a good sense of humor. Loved her kids and grand kids. Going to miss her a lot. Love, Cheryl Deaver Wolff

Dear Cousins -- I am so saddened to hear of Joanne's passing. I had not seen her for a very long time, but when I was younger, the Wolffs were a very big part of my life. I remember fondly the visits to Greeley, the Thanksgiving Dinners, the family picnics in Big Thompson Canyon, and all the special events -- births, graduations, weddings. Everyone loved Joanne. I have a box of letters that my dad received when he was in Hawaii during World War II. There are several from Nelma Jean and Joanne. They clearly loved their uncle and he loved them. One of my earliest memories of Joanne is when we visited Ed and Emma in Haxtun, when they ran a gas station and Joanne fixed hair in the same building. We were thrilled when almost everyone moved to Greeley, much closer to Boulder. I believe the last time I saw Joanne was when mother and I visited in Sydney. Please accept my sincere condolences. It makes me very sad -- but also very proud -- to realize that I am now the only cousin left. May God bless you all. -- William Arndt
