My thoughts are with Leon's extended family. As a member of the JHS class of 64, I have many fond memories of time spent with Leon. He was a gentle giant and will surely be missed by all who knew him. RIP. Guy Pidgeon

Penny, I'm so sorry that I'll not be able to attend. My heart goes out to you during this time. Although we are first cousins, he was enough younger than I that I never really got to know him as an adult. I'm so glad that most of the first cousins were able to get together last May. As one who lives away, that was very meaningful for me and I'm so glad Leon and you were able to make it. I know that he was Vi's strength and comfort during some difficult times for he and that speaks so well of the man that he was. Much love and sympathy.

Leon was the most pleasant caring person I have ever met. Society has lost a great one whom many have never had the opportunity to meet. He served our country with the utmost pride, he tilled the soil with pride, he left his sister and brothers with an aching heart. Yes, he will be missed by all and among them will be my son and daughter. May God bless you Leon for what you are, who you are and your footprints which will be hard to follow.
